The Composer UI consists of a compositing layout and an audio mixer layout, with all important elements easily accessible. The purpose of the UI is to provide an intuitive and natural workflow for the operator/designer.

High-level overview - Compositing

  1. Main Menu — Provides access to application-wide features and settings.

  2. Navigation Tabs — Switches between the workspace areas: Inputs & Scenes, Operators, Targets, and Connectors.

  3. Selected Tab View — Displays the contents and configuration options for the selected navigation tab.

  4. Selected Input Audio — Displays audio level activity for the selected input.

  5. Selected Layer Audio — Displays audio level activity for the selected layer, with controls for volume, panning, and channel mapping.

  6. Selected Scene Audio — Displays audio level activity for the selected scene, with Low Cut, Compressor, Limiter, and Volume controls.

  7. Performance & Project Options — Displays real-time performance metrics and project configuration settings.

  8. Scene Preview — Displays a live preview of the selected scene's video and audio output.

  9. Scene View Options — Provides controls for adjusting the scene preview display.

  1. Main Menu — Provides access to application-wide features and settings.
