The Audio Router operator allows you to control how audio channels are routed and mapped within your project. It supports up to 8 channels (4 stereo pairs), giving you full flexibility to reassign audio signals. With the Audio Router, you can redirect any input channel to a different output, swap left and right channels, or create custom stereo combinations. This makes it perfect for adjusting channel layouts with ease.

This operator displays the audio input level before processing and the output level after the operator has been applied, allowing you to monitor how the adjustments affect the signal.
A miniature audio meter (VU meter) in the header indicates incoming audio, so you can quickly verify that the operator is receiving audio even when it is collapsed.
Use Settings to adjust how long the signal overload indicator stays active, and Project Options to change the maximum peak level displayed in all audio meters to your preference.
Source
- Layer (default) - Uses the audio signal from the selected layer.
- Source (pre-fader) - Uses the audio directly from the input before any volume or effects are applied. This option is useful if you want to route a clean, unaltered signal.
Channel Routing
The Audio Router provides 8 audio channels (4 stereo pairs) that can each be reassigned individually. For every channel, you can use the dropdown menu to choose which input channel should be routed to that output.
