In most use cases, the main output (target) is a CDN used for playback of online video streams, but in some use cases, SDI video out is the main target.
For SDI output, use the Blackmagic Decklink Target. The component is relatively straightforward to configure and use.
Currently, there are two different alternatives when adding a new Blackmagic Decklink target.
Blackmagic Decklink Target v2 - supports both Windows and Linux OS
Blackmagic Decklink Target v3 - supports both Windows and Linux OS (Recommended). The v3 is optimized and requires significantly less processing time.
Autostart when application starts - Check this option to enable target at application launch. For autostart of targets, the Autostart target options also must be activated on the application level (See the chapter Performance panel)
Output channel - Select the output channel
Display mode - Select the display mode
Device name - Selected device name
Commands:
Start playback - Starts the target
Stop playback - Stops the target
Playback state - Current playback state
Performance and properties:
Video width - The width of output video
Video height - The height of output video
* Debug properties. Only visible if "Show debug properties" are enabled in Settings.
Important!
The display mode frame rate should be the same as your project frame rate. Otherwise, there is a risk of audio not being in sync.
