Active video renderer - This setting affects how the preview area is drawn. When Composer is being run on a local workstation, it is recommended to run the Direct3d Video renderer. If Composer is accessed over an RDP session, the InteropBitmap Video renderer must be used to see the preview. Otherwise, it will be black. Also, if the host GPU is run in TCC mode (compute mode), the InteropBitmap Video renderer should be used.
Launch the application in Performance Mode(Desktop only)—If this option is enabled, Composer will start in a Performance mode that disables most of the GUI, slightly increasing its performance.
Reduce CPU/GPU load during project start - By activating this new feature, the probability of issues happening when multiple media files are started or looped (files having the same length), is reduced significantly.
Lock GPU clocks - If this option is active, the memory and graphics clock speed of the GPU will be set to the maximum value. This will make the “compute time” more stable - especially in projects with low load. However, it will likely increase the GPU's energy consumption. The default value is Active.
Use high performance system clock - Enabled by default. This will increase the accuracy of the internal rendering timer/clock rendering and provide a more consistent frame rate. However, this will add slightly more CPU load (on one (1) CPU core).
