Article summary

Creating a setup in Composer is often an iterative process where the studio team, graphics team, PO-team, and the end customer come together. The final output is dependent on all elements - from camera position/alignment/lens type to all the graphic layers, lights, chroma key setup, presenter pose/closes/makeup, and more.

Setups in Composer can be very different, and the complexity ranges from very simple to very complex. A single-camera setup with color correction and a single RTMPS output is straightforward to set up. On the other hand, a multi-camera setup, with multiple scenes where 3D graphics match a physical build, combined with Chroma Key and external triggers for event synchronization, takes more careful planning and preparation.

Understanding how inputs, scenes, operators, and targets work is critical in any design. Integration with backend systems (for triggering events) adds another layer of complexity and requires a deeper understanding of how Composer works.
