# Log Window

On the Windows Desktop version, the log window can be opened via the OPEN LOG WINDOW button found in the Performance section or via the Composer menu **"Analysis/Open log window..."** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/94808959-fd66-406c-ab5e-4691ce952a14/Images/Documentation/performance-panel_options_240902.png)The log window contains the application log entries and data on date/time, log level, and a message. Log levels can be filtered using the checkboxes at the top of the window.

Top **copy**a log entry, right-click on the row, and choose **copy**.

The log window only shows the recent log entries. The entire log file can be found in the Logs folder located in the application root directory.

The **ESC**key will close the Log Window.
